01 — Our story
A contractor built on repeat business.
J.S.G Construction Company Ltd started in 2007 with a small team, a pickup and a conviction that Ugandan clients deserved a contractor who finishes what he starts. The first jobs were residential. The referrals that followed turned into commercial buildings, institutional facilities and civil works.
Today we run projects from concept and design through to construction and completion — a complete turnkey service — while keeping the same standards of quality, safety, durability and client satisfaction that got us the second job.
We still believe every successful project begins the same way: a strong partnership, technical excellence, transparency, and attention to the details nobody else notices until it rains.

Call 0414 580857It depends on scale and finishes, but as a guide: a standard three-bedroom bungalow runs six to nine months, a storeyed home nine to fourteen, and a commercial block twelve to twenty-four. We give you a dated programme before work starts, and a weekly report showing where we are against it.
Yes — it's how most of our clients work with us. Architectural design, structural engineering and construction sit in one contract, so there is no gap between the drawing and the build, and no argument about whose responsibility a problem is.
Tell us the budget at the first meeting and we'll tell you honestly what it builds. Where it's tight, we design to the figure — adjusting scope, specification or phasing — rather than starting a project that stalls at roof level. Every quotation is measured, itemised and explained line by line.
We prepare and submit the drawings and documents required by the local authority and follow the submission through to approval. You stay informed at each stage; we handle the queues.
Our office is on Yusuf Lule Road in Kampala and we work throughout Uganda — Wakiso, Mukono, Entebbe, Jinja, Mbarara, Gulu and beyond. For sites outside the central region we mobilise a resident site team rather than commuting.
Yes. Extensions, remodelling, fit-outs, roof replacement, and structural repair to existing buildings. Renovation work always begins with a survey of what is actually there — old drawings are rarely accurate — and the price follows the survey, not the guess.
Three ways. Materials are tested and sourced from approved suppliers. Work is inspected at hold points — setting out, reinforcement, before every pour, before closing anything up. And one named project manager signs off each stage, with photographs, before the next one starts.
